About Dr. Sadia Malick

Dr Sadia Malick FRCOG is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist working at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an internationally acclaimed centre of excellence. She has established the gynaecology services for the Ambulatory department at KFSH&RC. She is actively involved in research and has registered the largest research project for Premature Ovarian Insufficiency in the research centre.

Dr Sadia Malick has previously worked and trained in United Kingdom and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). She worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in United Kingdom till 2014 before moving to UAE and held the positions of Chief of Gynaecology, Lead Early Pregnancy Unit and Lead Office Gynaecology at the Corniche Hospital Abu Dhabi. She also held the position of Associate Professor at the Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi. She was a visiting Consultant at the Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai Silicon Oasis.

Overall, Dr. Sadia has 30 years’ experience of performing all obstetric procedures including complex vaginal deliveries using forceps and suction devices and complicated higher order caesarean sections. Dr. Sadia has special interest in Abnormal Uterine Bleeding management and performs advanced hysteroscopy procedures. She established the first office gynaecology unit at Corniche Hospital. Her other interests include PCOS and female fertility. She is passionate about helping women going through the change in hormones and prescribes Hormones replacement therapy for patients according to international guidelines.

Authorship
She is an author of the chapter on Recurrent Miscarriage in the highly acclaimed Obstetrics and Gynaecology Textbook High Risk Pregnancy by Professor James. Dr. Sadia extensively contributed to research publications and international journals including RCOG. She also serves as reviewer for many journals. She has recently been awarded Membership from Cochrane for her work as a reviewer.

Leadership & Awards

Dr. Sadia has recently been awarded the Womens Leadership Award in Dubai by the World Womens Leadership Congress Awards. She is an examiner for the membership examinations of the RCOG UK and Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
